MerchantCodex exists because reliable, expert-level Google Shopping guidance is nearly impossible to find. Every answer here comes from one person, a Google Diamond Expert with over 15 years in the field. No AI. No shortcuts.
Why MerchantCodex exists
I started FeedArmy in 2014, helping merchants fix feed issues, recover from suspensions, and build Google Shopping campaigns that actually convert. Over the years, I answered hundreds of questions in Google’s official forums, eventually earning Diamond Expert status in both Google Merchant Center and Google Ads.
The problem I kept seeing: merchants and agencies trying to navigate Google Shopping with advice from AI-generated articles, outdated blog posts, or random Reddit threads. The wrong fix for a suspension can permanently disable your account. Bad information has real consequences.
MerchantCodex is my answer to that. A private community where you can ask real questions and get real answers, written by me personally, verified against Google’s actual documentation, and delivered in a format that becomes a permanent, searchable resource for the whole community.
